I really didn't intend to give Iris any particular meaning though one snuck in. Georgia O'Keeffe was adamant her iris's weren't a double entendre, in this case it sort of is. Even being childless by choice, I'm fascinated by birth. I'll let you apply those musings to Iris as you please.
